Congratulations to Ms. Quintero, Mrs. Recendez, Ms., Mangos and Mrs. Goodman!

Congratulations to the Westport Heights Condors, soaring to new heights!

The Guinness Book of World Records certified the 96 Elephants Origami Project!  Congratulations WHES Students and teachers for your contributions of the origami elephants you made!  Thank you Mrs. Goodman for bringing this project to our school!

Fold an Origami Elephant helps bring awareness to the fact that 35,000 African elephants are killed each year for their tusks.  Ms. Goodman and boys and girls from Ms. Quintero, Mrs. Recendez and Ms. Mangos' classes helped to break the Guinness World Record for most origami elephants displayed (the old record was 33,764).  We were a part of the global effort that created 78,654 origami elephants to create a new Guinness World Record!  Congratulations!
